Terms and conditions

By entering the competition you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

The competition is open to registered customers on the UK mainland only. You must be aged over 18 years or above to enter. The competition is not open to Hamleys Group employees or their agents.

The closing date of the competition is Sunday 4th September 2005.

There are two prizes to be won. The first prize is for 4 (2 adults + 2 children under 12) return economy flights to Sun City Resort, South Africa. It includes transfers in South Africa, 5 nights accommodation at the Five Star Cascades Hotel on a bed & breakfast basis, and a game drive in Pilanesburg National Park. The winner is responsible for spending money and all other out of pocket expenses.

The second prize is an EXCLUSIVE PRIVATE SCREENING of MADAGASCAR for you & up to 50 of your friends at your local cinema courtesy of UIP/DreamWorks, subject to cinema location and availability.

Hamleys reserves the right to substitute prizes with prizes of an equal or greater value. There is no cash alternative. Prize is not transferable.

The holiday must be taken before 30 September 2006 on dates agreed with the Tour Operator, subject to availability.

The winners will be selected from all those people who enter both online and offline. Offline you have to find the 5 big game animals in-store and submit their locations and your details on the official in-store pamphlet. Online you have to spot the five animals in our game and enter your personal information.

Additionally, online entrants have extra chances of winning. For every friend that you forward to using the on-site facility and who subsequently enters, you will receive an additional entry in the database, thereby increasing your chances of winning.

Entries without this complete information or a valid email address will be deemed invalid.

The winners will be selected randomly from all entrants in the database and will be notified in writing by Friday 16 September 2005. The selection of winners will be supervised by a panel of judges whose decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
